The Sodeco Beauty Salon sits on a quiet street in Beirut's Ashrafieh district.
A wide glass window exposes the bustling interior design to the quiet exterior. The Salon is a pink box among a sea of grey buildings.
The visual outburst of the lobby, is inspired by the gentil curvature found in hair follicles, and rose petals. Dangling from the ceiling are a series of curved structures made out of stretched fabric, culminating into a central lighting element. Each level of the salon takes on a slightly different mood, reflecting its functions.
The basement floor houses the hair salon. A rigid marble monolith appears amidst a sea of curvy, light materials. This monolith houses the salon's catwalk, which invites brides to have photoshoot sessions.
